For those who are purely English educated like me and am interested in practicing the Pureland Buddhism, it is difficult but not impossible to get materials to read. It is easier for those schooled in English to practise Tibetan or Thevarada Buddhism. The monks usually speak English unlike Mahayana and Pureland sect where the monks/nuns/sifu are usually Chinese educated and from Taiwan. But fortunately for the internet. One can browse through the various sites to get reading materials in English about Pureland Buddhism.
I found one website on Pureland which I would like to share=== http://www.amitabha-gallery.org/index.htm
There are Amitabha chants in MP3 version that one can download from the site. Blessings to those who make it possible for us. I managed to download Amitabha chants into my handphone so that I can listen to them whenever I like. There are also Pureland chants one can download to practise chanting.
And last Sunday, my schoolmate gave me a book on the English version of Infinite Life Buddha. It is very nice of her always to think of getting materials for me in English.
